Has anyone had problems when AR is creating a credit memo for sales tax and it does not hit Avalara correctly to which you have to manual change the reports for sales tax. Currently when the credit memo are being created its just a misc line with the sales tax amount because the tax exempt form has been uploaded. In turn the credit doesn’t flow through Avalara correctly. Is there any work around for this?
We’ve had to expire the the tax cert and enable after the credit is created.

proper way is to credit entire invoice, create certificate, then reenter invoice. Some of my customers have made the decision until you mr customer give me the certificate i will charge the tax and you must pay it as i may have to pay. There is a process to handle this easier but more steps. we have 3 Avalara Certified consultants that know Epicor and Avalara and can help you through this. It will work if you setup and process correctly. Contact you Regional Manager or CAM.
