Creating Jobs... Make Direct to Other Jobs

Thanks for jogging my memory josh! The thing it WONT do is consolidate demand and build to multiple jobs if you're using multiples, days of supply etc, its only capable of making one demand link.

If the part is a manufactured non-stock it should be auto created as a job
to job if a job is showing demand for it shouldn't it?

I know you CAN get MRP to create suggested jobs with a job to job demand
link, I've done it before, but there are some limitations regarding that.
Now for the life of me I'm struggling to remember how I set that up.
Perhaps it will come to me tomorrow. But it is possible...

If youre talking about defaulting a setting to make it "Make to Job" instead of Make to Order or Make to Stock then I am thinking a BPM could handle this quite nicely.

Josh has got it. If a material for a job is a non-stock part, the job to produce that material will have a Make To Job Demand Link to the next level job.
