Created new company...now what?

Hi All,

E9.05.702A

I need to create a new Epicor company in our existing database.
I added the company through the Epicor Administration Console and now I’m unsure what do to next.
I went to add the company to my user account but it’s not available in the drop down list.

I suspect there might be conversion programs that I need to run but when I log into the Admin Tools there is no prompt about running mandatory conversion programs.
I’m also not having much luck, yet, looking in AnswerBooks.

Is there a document out on EpicWeb that explains what to do next or does someone have the steps they can share?

Log in using the manager account, you can then assign the company to yourself.

You’re on the right track. The only user that will be able to see it at present, is the user defined in the Epicor Admin Console on the server. Log into Epicor as that user, then add the company to your user account.

Hi Joe,

I just went through this same process and you need to be set as a global user first within the EAC.

Once you do this the new company will be available to be added under the Epicor client user maintenance.

The multi-company tech guide instructions are missing this detail.
