Hello, Group:
Over the last 12-hours our Windows 2008 Server has been running at 100%, the two processes that are causing this spike are both _proapsv.exe
There are currently no task running and the log files are not revealing the culprit. If we restart the app servers, the cpu usage will drop, but after 30-minutes it spikes again.
There are several app servers running that go into a sending mode and then all become available again.
I'm currently waiting for Epicor technical support to respond.
Thanks.

if you think that a Appserver is hitting 100%, you can run progetstack PID. this will create a file in the OE working directory.
open a proenv
>prompt
> progetstack PID
then you can open the file with an editor.

We have several lbi and dbi files that are in excess of 1Gb.
You need to have open edge installed , you have E10?
what you are describing what I used to have when we had bad BPMs that they would get stuck.

Thanks, but it doesn't look like that command is available. Also, the CPU usage is spread over 5-6 different PIDS which use about 10-20 each.

Could it be that you have employees not clocking out.

It seems when the employees go to end labor activity in MES it hungs up. This might be what's causing the CPU to hit and stay at 100%.
Run abaq and see how many active activities you have
