We have a number of parent parts which we quote that contain stocked manufactured parts.
Due to this we have an issue when costing at quote level, due to it being treated as a material (to allow it to be taken from stock), when we quote the part it uses standard cost rather than the manufacturing cost for the quantity we are quoting.
When we get details against the quote we need to somehow make the parts pull through as subassemblies rather than materials, has anyone had this issue and can point me in the direction to achieve this?
Thanks Alisa,
We can’t use this as when we get a demand for the part it needs to be treated as a material which is pulled from stock, with Pull as assembly ticked it ignores stock and expects it to be manufactured.
We only need it to be treated as a subassembly in a quotation so it it costed properly.
