Cost roll-ups in 8.00.809

Dawn

Check you have your parts set up as STD costed in the partplant tab.
Not just the part general tab (as this is just a default for the plants)

Thanks Gary. I tried but no luck. The rolled up cost shows in part maint
and on stock status but nothing in WIP Capture or in the GL. Any other
ideas? Is there a special configuration for roll ups that I might be
missing?

If you are talking about 8.00.809 with no patches, the cost roll up
program definitely works. I suggest taking a copy of your db into test
and run the capture COS/WIP to check they are being posted.

Subject: [Vantage] Cost roll-ups in 8.00.809

Hello. Has anyone had trouble with rolling up costs in verison .809? I
can get the costs to roll up and change in the part transaction history
screen, the new cost gets posted to the partcost table but the WIP
reconciliation report doesn't show the transactions at all. I worry that
means the costs won't get posted to the GL when we run WIP capture at
the end of the month. We are testing the 400 version on a new box - the
cost rollups do show on the WIP report there, same data, same database
configuration. Is this just a bug in 809 or am I missing something else?

Thanks for your help.
