Converting from avg cost to std cost

Does anyone have any steps for converting from avg cost to std cost after go live? Our company wants to switch to standard cost from avg cost but I know there are some things we did before Go Live for std cost coming from avcg cost but are they different after go live?

If you have QOH for a part I know you have to adjust out the quantity before you change the costing method and then adjust it back in, similar to turning on/off lot tracking.

Once you adjust the qty out then you change the parts to std from avg correct? Then you can run the costing workbench.

Do a cost adjustment to set your STD costs on all your purchased parts before running the costing workbench.
