I have created customizations for our Part Maintenance that limit individuals update ability to very specific fields on a need to basis depending upon their job function. This actually works very well and is much better than field security since field security also limits their ability to view the field. However, the users are able to get around this customization by using the context menus, i.e. right clicking and selecting Part Entry. I have tried to better understand the Context menu security but the help offers very little in understanding. It mentions a little about personalization and customization but I cannot find a way to assign a specific context menu customization/personalization to a specific user. I can do a customization that would change it for all users but that is not the goal.

If anyone has successfully gotten this to work I would greatly appreciate any help you can give.
