Connecting RB to Training Db

You need to change the service name, not the path. If you're launching
the reports from Report Link inside of Vantage, it will automatically
override the settings and use the current database.

Which reminds me... the persistent Urban Legend / Myth that you have to
edit all your reports every time you upgrade Vantage and change the drive
letter still continues. IT JUST AIN'T SO!!! Don't waste our time on
it! The full path is only used if you're running single-user mode. Report
Builder will grumble; but Vantage ALWAYS connects the report to the
current DB.

I have some reports that were built while connected to our live db. I now want to connect them to training.
I've done the Disconnect, selected New Connection and setup the path to the training database, etc. Everything
appears to be connected to the training side but I'm still getting live db data. I've gotta be overlooking the
obvious but what is it?

Cancel my request. I tried changing the Service Name from Epic51 to Epic51trn and that worked. Never thought
of that this morning!!
