Company specific menu security?

It looks like they've broken it in 9.05.700C then ;)

Either way at least I know that this cannot be accomplished until we've made the move from Vantage 8 to Epicor 9.

Is the above possible in Vantage 8 or Epicor 9 ?.

Documentation implies that this may be the case, however, in reality it's impossible ?.

You can create a custom Security ID and make that company specific, however, you then need to tie it to a specific Menu ID and that's where it falls over. In Vantage 8 there's no column/field in the Menu table allowing a company specific row of data to exist, there is in Epicor 9 (9.0.5.700 in SQL) however the Cuurent Company button on the Deatil tab of Menu Maintenance is greyed out.

It looks like Epicor is working towarsd providing this feature, but in reality it just does not work ?.
