Ooh. Interesting.

They’ve switched to MSAL for Microsoft auth, awesome!

I think @olga mentioned that happened in 2022 (not sure if .1 or .2) but that IS good news!

Hm, it isn’t explicitly mentioned in the 2022.2 docs, but is here. Maybe Azure AD supported in 22, then updated to the latest auth lib in 23?

Anyone know when 2023 drops for on prem?

Based on past performance, figure it will be not long after Insights.

That generally depends on the experience of the pre-release group and the initial cloud roll out. I agree with @Ernie.

FWIW, I was told on April 4 that the “expected release date for Kinetic 2023.1 is May 18th, 2023”.

Niceeeeeeeeeeeee

Be careful and don’t make dinner reservations for it yet… I’ve seen it pushed out multiple weeks if the pre-release folks find issues.

Be equally careful of the Release Notes document… it is still in a Controlled Release state and may change.

I see, yeah we have a go live at some point before September and was wondering if 2023 was going to be available at that time.

2023.2 will probably be in Pilot in September and will release to the cloud in October if history holds.

Thanks

I’ve already run into a few, but they’ve been minor so far. The new grids are soooo much more aesthetically pleasing; I haven’t poked the functionality too much yet.

This is what I was hoping to see and hear.

It’s only the first day I’ve been in it. I wouldn’t get too excited yet.
