I’m experiencing an issue with a ComboBox field in multiple Epicor screens. The dropdown data, which is populated from UserCodes, sometimes does not load, and the field displays a spinning wheel. In some instances, the spinning stops and the data loads only after we reopen the screen.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any suggestions on how to resolve this? Could this be related to a configuration setting or a performance issue? Any insights or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated.
Is this a NEW issue (since the 2024.1.10 update) or were you always seeing this issue?
A combobox against UserCodes is pretty straight forward and I haven’t noticed anything weird going on with mine. The fact that you’re seeing this on multiple forms, to me, sounds more like a 2024.1.10 issue.
I can say that the latest update has had some kind of caching issue. I will often load a form and it will be the base form (without any of my customized layers applied). I then have to refresh the browser and then my customized layers appear as normal.
Wondering if this could be the issue.
The next time you see this, refresh your browser and then see if they load quickly/as expected.
We see this in order entry and project entry currently. Currently we are on 2024.1.7. I can say we did see this in 2023.2.19 not sure if anyone else has seen it.
