Clock in late / Clock out early shop warning notes on Labor Edit

Mike - Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. For this a BAQ on the laborhed table linked to the jcshift comparing the clockin time to shift start time and clock out time to shift end time. then on the dashboard you can use the tracker view search prompts to have the user filter for their employees and dates. if you need help with it let me know. You could of course expand on this to show and other info you wanted and could add the labordtl table also if you wanted to show that.

 Sarah

All, we have an issue where our “shop warning” code 180 and 190 that deal with bad clock in/out times are now not showing up on our labor edit report after we just went live with our V8 to E9 conversion.  I’ve verified all of the “Alert Group” settings are exactly identical in 9 as was in 8 and that the “show in labor edit” tickboxes are checked on both of those alert codes (180 and 190).  We had a consultant look at it and he found that we do NOT have time or expense enabled in our licensing.  Time/Expense licensing didn’t exist with Vantage 8, we just had “data collection”.  He thinks that has something to do with the problem.  He told us that “by default” if we have the production module, we should have had “at leat” the time module enabled when they re-did our license.    We have the payroll module (though we don’t use it) enabled.    Can anyone tell me if their codes work if we DON’T have time/expense enabled?  Has anyone else experienced this kind of problem…

we use time/expense entry and have the warning messages turned on and I just tested it and they are not showing on our report either. Never noticed before bc we do not use the epicor labor edit report. (I verified we had the employee cloekd out early one active and set to print on the labor edit then ran the labor edit for one of my guys who I know left early this week - no message showed). Not sure if there's another setting somewhere for it since we don't use it (we used to use it on vantage 5 but when we upgraded to 9 we began using dashboards for pretty much everything...)

Sarah, thanks….We actually used it daily in Vantage 8 to find bad clock ins/outs….We do NOT have time/expense entry however licensed…..I’m guessing it’s not a license thing as the consultant suggested though….That helps…..Anyone else noticed this behavior in Epicor9. Any fix?????
