Sorry, everybody for going back so far on topics.
I took Troy's suggestions to heart and did what he recommended.
Client To Do's after upgrading to a new version of Vantage...
*Uninstall Progress (old version)
*Edit the Registry. Search for 9.1C (for Vantage 5.1 for instance) and
delete all references to it. Search for "V:\" if that was your old mapped
drive, and delete all references to it.
When I load the Vantage client everything seems to proceed normally, then
Progress stops responding in the Task Manager and my CPU goes to 100% for
20-30 seconds depending on the system. This happens even on my Vantage
Server. Then Progress comes back and the log in window appears. No
noticeable lag from this point on.
Anyone have any ideas?

Subject: [Vantage] Client Load time Vantage 5.2
Hi all
I am still in the testing phase of migrating to Vantage 5.2 and I have
noticed a significantly longer load time of the client.
Has any body else experienced this or is there a way to speed up the
client load process.
I have a new server for 5.2 Dual PIII 1.25, 1GB Ram, Raid Stripe / mirror
set 160MB. So I dont think that it is the server but who knows.
Any comments would be appreciated.
