Previously, our system was setup for a shift code for our 1st shift to be 6:00am to 2:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch entry added from 11:30 to 12:00. This functionality currently automatically removes time off of jobs/indirect during that lunch period time and everything worked as it should from a total hours perspective. What we are wanting to do now is change the shift code to be 6:00am to 2:00pm with a 30 minute paid lunch but we do not want to have the employees clock of jobs/indirect and clock into lunch just to take their lunch. We need to see “proof” in labor entry that there was a lunch period created. Is there anyway to keep them from having to clock out and the system automatically creates the lunch entry during their scheduled lunch time or any othe rway to accomplish this?
