When we run our MRP, we get a job number that doesn’t relate to anything that we currently go by. Our manual job entry job numbers have a naming convention that makes it easier for the operators to know what the job is for. Is there any way to change the job number of MRP created jobs?
You can put a prefix to distinguish between MRP generated jobs and manual ones…this is setup through Site Configuration.
Is this what you are looking for?

We had someone right some code for us. It gives us the UnFirm UF000001111, we click NEXT job and it pulls the next job sequence, 525336, then we add the Prefix NEW-525336 click OK and our new job is set.
You can set other standard parameters in PLant Config
Miguel, that is exactly what we are looking for. Can you send me some info on who you got to do this for you?
