Im trying to figure out, if there is a way in Epicor, to have different dates for different part going into the same product.
Example.
Product A consists of part B, C and D
We produce a 8 pieces of C and i would like to be able to have these on stock prior to starting on manufacturing Product A
Is there a way in Epicor to change the schedule so that part C is finished a week before it’s needed to produce Part A?
I think the easiest way would be to lock the job date and quantity. That way, the scheduler won’t move it.
Another thing to look at is the Receive Time field on the Sites > Planning tab of Part Maintenance for part C.
Okay, sounds interesting, i will have to look into that.
Also to give some more specifics on my issue.
As it is now, In sales order entry, we have Part A as one line, but we also state that Part C as a line. So in the sales order we have those to lines. Is that the correct way of doing that?
Cause in order to manufacture A, we need to have C on stock before.

Unless you sell them A and C and do not issue C to A, then this would double your demand.
