Changing a field from another table

I’m trying to change the value of the lot number value based on a field in a LaborDtl record that lead up to th PartTrans record that is shown in the image i provided. Using the method below , query the labor record i want and set the value of the lot number field in the par tran record.

Any direction would be greatly helpful.
