Jose, the only way I was able to change it  in Vantage was to call Epicor Support and have them send me a patch to run which asks you what you want the decimal places to be for Cost, Price and General

I have done this myself. The program Epicor sent has a front end and can be run against any database, so you can change it at anytime. They didn't give any restrictions or cautions.

Jose,

I am not sure what area of Vantage you want to change the number of decimal places. But for any form that prints I think I have a solution.

This happened one time to a user here and I couldn't figure out while they were only printing one decimal place on quotes and sales orders while everyone else was fine with 2 places.

Somehow she changed a setting in Windows. This works for Vantage but only on a machine by machine basis and also may affect other programs.

In Windows 7 go to region and language, formats, additional settings, number of digits after decimal.

Not sure if that is what you are looking for, but it will work.

Has anyone done this in Epicor 9.05.700?
I would like to extend my cost and price to 8 decimals to the right and know that it will carry through the system and calculate correctly without truncating. I am already set at 5 yet the calculations in the container landed costing truncates at 3.
The company, modules, finance setup has the rounding tolerance as 6.
Life would be wonderful if I could have it at eight and keep accurate data.
