Cash Receipts

  I just checked the journal tracker and it shows up in there, credit and debit looks normal. Any other ideas?

Has anyone had an issue where the person entering the cash receipts entered the wrong date. Like it should have been 3/15/05 and they entered 6/15/05. I need to be changed to 3/15/05. Has anyone had this issue before? I have called Epicor but he didn't know and they are suppose to be getting back to me ... but I just wondered if anyone in the group has dealt with this before.

Hi All,
 
We are on version 9.05.700C and have something extremely
weird happening. We posted a Cash Receipt, went thru all normal procedures. You
can see the posting via the general ledger detail (decreases AR increases Cash)
but one of the  invoices still shows up on the AR Aging report. The AR
Aging still ties to the Balance Sheet which I find extremely odd. Has anyone
else had this happened to you? If so how did you go about fixing it. We’ve
tried the fix provided by Epicor but that just causes the AR Aging report to no
longer tie to the Balance Sheet. Any advice or ideas is greatly appreciated.

Is the cash account correct? Does it includes the amount of this invoice?
If you go to the invoice tracker + payments tab do you see the cash receipt related to it?

Yes we reconcile cash daily and the payment of this particular
invoice is reflected in there. I have gone to Invoice Tracker and the payment
does not show up on there even though you can see via general ledger detail.
When the AR Aging is run and the Balance Sheet is run, the AR balance ties.
Which doesn’t make sense to me.  Any ideas?

Maybe the journal half posted?
Are you able to see the journal of the cash receipt on the journal detail tracker?
