You may be disappointed although I may be misunderstanding your needs.
We are in a Multicompany environment and were looking for a centralized receivables capability similar to the centralized payables that comes out of the box. Turns out after several go-arounds with Epicor that the AR business objects as exposed by the web services lacked some of the functionality we required (and that they thought existed), and it turns out there's a lot of complexity that is involved.
At a minimum, this is very non-trivial, and you may run into roadblocks. If you make things work, I'd like to hear more details.

Subject: [Vantage] Cash Application via Service Connect
Vantage 8.03.404B.
We are looking at creating a workflow to "automate" much of the cash application processes. It appears that our bank can provide much of the information we need in electronic form, including the invoice number that the customer is paying. So now we're in the "exception handling" process (short pay, discounts, debit memos, cash on account, etc.)
Has anyone already plowed this field and have any Service Connect insights to pass along?
Thanks in advance.
