I'm on 8.03.05 and I had this issue. I contacted support and they sent me a fix which I had our IT people install and it fixed my problem.

Todd,
Thanks so much. We will try that today and see if that works for us. Our
company is growing, so that makes since that we need to adjust accordingly.
Thanks,

This might be a stretch but I vaguely recall something similar a long time
ago. I believe there are some database settings (via PET) that can increase
the lock table settings. Posting WIP/COS can throw out a lot of locks
especially for multi-assembly jobs with lots of levels. For example in the
Poerperties for default Configuration under our DB the # Lock Table Entries
is set to 1,500,000. There may be some interaction or rule for setting this
in relation to other settings so looking up the DB tuning info on EpicWEB
might be a better place to start. But setting it up a bit (30%) from where
it is should be OK just to see if it makes the problem go away. I'm pretty
sure changing it requires a DB stop/restart to take effect.

Subject: [Vantage] capture COS/WIP activity
I am having a problem posting my COS/WIP. I am currently running
6.10.543 and when I go to post I am getting a "Lock table" error
#915. I am just trying to post one day and it will not post. I
believe that I have seen this same error before (I think that it is
the same), but I have always narrowed my date range and been able to
proceed. However, I am down to one day and can't go any smaller than
that. Has anyone else had this error before? Do you remember how you
fixed it?
Thanks,
Cindy
