What version, server?
I believe for some version(s) of E9 there is a recent known issue & you may need to call tech support.

If V8, then I also was receiving an error message similar to yours.
When I ran 8920 for detail and 8930 (I think) for header it didn't clear.

I ended up manually shutting down the appservers but... one would always hang.

Then when I rebooted the labor record had cleared.

“Warning.  Progress cannot get the row you’ve just begun editing with a Share-Lock. (4316).  This is followed by “The data in the current row in BROWSE BROWSE-1 has been changed by another user since it was originally displayed.  Progress will now redisplay the current row with the latest data blah blah blah”.  It won’t let me change the Active “Yes” to “No” no matter what I do.  Rebooting the server didn’t release it.

ANY ideas how to fix/troubleshoot this?  We are currently completely hung up at the moment.
