We have a strange problem with Menu Maintenance on different installations with different versions (10.1.100.10; 10.1.200.10; 10.1.200.8 etc).
We are not able to edit any menu item in Menu Maintenance even though we are a Security Manager. All options are greyed out. I also tried with the Manager account.
Not sure if it’ll do anything, but sometimes Actions>Copy to Current Company would clone the menu, and let you select customizations. It’ll briefly show two menu entries, but that’ll get corrected on the next screen refresh.
@epicGeoff I figured out what was my issue. It was user error on my part not understanding how the menu maintenance was working for the New UI/Classic UI shenanigans. I was trying to apply a New UI customization on a Menu Item instead of a Kinetic App. I am working in 2022.1 by the way.
As @fakhruddin mentions it has to do with enabling multitenant on the license file. This is mainly used for Epicor Cloud as far as I understand. This limits changes to certain parts of the system.
