Epicor version 9.05.701
Problem:…when trying to close a sales order, i get the error “There are pending shipments for this order. Cannot close this order”.
I found the order in “Material Queue Manager” and deleted this, but its made no difference.
Any suggestions on how i can close this order would be much appreciated.
Do you have any open packs for any of the order lines/releases?

Wow, this was a real mess.
Your right the problem came down to a packslip that had been wrongly processed.
I deleted it and was then able to close the sales order.
