Cannot close quote when Task Assign

Hi

simple question

If a Quote as Tasks assign, to close the Quote at any time (before going througth the last task)

Is it possible to go to Action > Quote > Close Quote (because I cannot. message that I have an Active task)

Or

You must absolutely go to the tab Tasks > Detail – Select Complete and Lose

check Epicare, and user guide, cannot find if this is As design or a bug that I cannot close the Quote from the Action menu

Not 100% sure, but I believe that is As Designed.
You can also use Task List to complete the task.

Just received a message from Epicor

To confirm, yes it’s as design, now we know !

From Epicor

In order to close a Quote all mandatory tasks must be completed.

Going to Actions > Quote > Close Quote without completing tasks, will not let you close the quote. You must first go to Tasks Tab > Details > Complete and then you can close the quote from the actions menu.
