Cannot add a widget to a sliding panel

Hi,

I am following the tutorial on Epicweb for adding a sliding panel.

When I try to add a group box to the panel

I get the following icon displayed and I cannot add to the panel.

I have followed the instructions but I can’t see what I am doing wrong.

Any hints- greatly appreciated.
