Calling at GL superusers: E9.05

When there is a difference between the PO cost and the Invoice cost - Epicor
makes an ADJ-PUR transaction to AP Clearing. This is another transaction
that should hit the AP Clearing account.



We have it set up where it hits the AP Clearing and Purchase Price Vairance
Accounts.

exactly impacts the value of this account.

As far as I know AP Clearing = Value of PO Receipts - Value of PO Receipts
paid via an invoice.

If you have an AP Clearing ccount, at the time of the PO receipt it will credit inventory or expense and debit AP clearing. When you post the invoice it will credit ap clearing and debit accounts payable
