I am not able to Epicor specific Process flow documentation in Epicweb for the following modules
Manufacturing - MTO, ETO…etc…
Operations - P2P, O2C …etc…
Asset Management …
Financials ….
CRM …
We see such process diagrams in other erp like Oracle , SAP, but not in Epicor.
Has anyone developed that can be shared with so as to use for reference. Meanwhile I have also emailed to Epicor documentation team as well.
Do you have the training guides for the modules?
While they do not include process flow charts, they might provide enough of a general overview to get you started.
And I will be interested in what you hear back from Epicor.
Do you happen to have access to EpicWeb, EpiCare?
It will be “hit and miss” but you can find process flow examples in answerbooks, and some of the standard documentation.
Or do you have an account on the old Yahoo group? They might have something in the files section for download?
And Not sure if this still exists for E10 but for new installs of V8, I remember that CAMs would provide one “free” hard copy of a “Manufacturing System Guide” which was pretty good. I think it was only about $100 for replacements of those.
Unfortunately any of my end user documentation is pretty site specific… not quite ready for the general public.
There is/was an Epicor UK document “ERP10 Manufacturing Base Model” which includes Epicor process flows and is part of the Signature Methodology - it is supplied by Epicor to assist customers with initial gap analysis between Epicor processes and business processes - enables you to properly scope the project/training, create impact matrixes etc. This is Epicor intellectual property so I don’t think it is freely available unless you are a formal partner/customer on maintenance. The cost of this documentation being supplied to us was included in our project consultancy costs so I am not willing to freely share.
It is quite high level though.
Generally if you buy the software, you will be issued with a copy of the application user guide. I don’t think that there is any way that you will legitimately get what you need without paying for it.
Ours is a word document authored by Steve Watson of Epicor from Jan 2015 - around the time that we were going live - must have been formally incorporated into XSOL since then.
