Business Activity Manager

Dear Experts, Bussiness Activity Manager option is showing in E9 but not showing in E10 refer to below screen shots

Please suggest how to enable this form?

It was moved into Method and Data Directives

Mark, I have checked under Bussines Process Management but it is not showing there refer to below screen

BussinessProcessManagement

You need the Data Directives as they have replaced BAM’s

Smith, Could you please suggest me how to track who has Created, Updated and Deleted the record from particular table. Because in E9 it is very simple. You have to select table and fields. After that you can generate the Change Log File report to track all those changes.

As with E9 you will still need to select the table and build the Workflow against an In-Transaction directive:

To select the fields go into ‘Design’ and create the Change Log from there:

Search change log in the help files. It’s all right there. Step by step.

Banderson, Could you please share the Change Log file?

What change log file? Read the Epicor help as @Banderson stated it is outlined there, also in the application guide, and Ice Tools Guide.

E9 BAMs were simply Progress Data Triggers that allowed special functions. When Epicor moved to E10, the BAMs were completely replaced by the better functionality that is allowed with Data BPMs.
All the functionality is there, but as others have suggested, you will need to do a little reeducation. You will need to create a “condition” widget that allows you to specify WHEN to log (ie… you dont want to log all changes to jobs when it is an unfirm job), and then add a change log widget which allows you to choose the fields to log.
The actual results of these change logs is the same as it was in E9, and visible the same way as before.

Dear experts, as per your instructions we have successfully implemented and track the user what changes he has done refer to below screen

“Deleted Records” checkbox is showing disable in Select Table Field(s) window. Please suggest how to track who has deleted the record?

Are you able to delete check head records?

It’s a check you can’t delete checks once they are posted… And before they are posted it doesn’t matter if they get deleted cause they don’t count.
