Rob,
its not related to the BO/method at all. It's BPM and service connect
schema mismatch.

Ahmed,

Very cool, do you think this was more related to this specific
BO/Method, or do you think that more often than not there will be
discrepancies between the schemas output by the BPM and the schemas
associated with the web services on the work flow side....

Hi Rob,
The solution was quite simple, therere was a mismatch in the input
schema and what was actually being ouput by the BPM directive. Which
resulted in no date being mapped.

Charlie,

I'm not using BPM's yet (we're still using the super-procedures - the
precursor to BPM's). The method I use to get these to kick off a service
connect workflow is simply write the data out to a csv file, and have
the
service connect monitor that folder. I would assume you'd be able to do
the
same in a BPM, as I understand the BPM is nothing more than the
superprocedures with a nice front-end on it.

That is what I'm going to have to do if I cant get this to work. The BPMs
have a method of calling the flow directly.

I'm getting the flow to fire and am seeing the correct dataset but can't get
the conversion to change from one to another for some reason.

Hi Everyone,

In need of some help if possible. I'm trying to create a button that will
open the Price Breaks form (just like the button in Quote
Entry/MfgDetails/QuoteDetails/Materials at the bottom.

Instead of opening a menu item or an Epicor.mfg.ui. object it's looks like
it's trying to open something called "App.QuoteEntry.MtlPriceBreakForm"
(captured while in developer mode and click on the button).

Can anyone point me in the right direction of how to create the same
functionality but in a different spot? I figured out the supplier price
breaks and purchase advisor buttons but can't seem to figure out how to do
the Price Breaks button.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Sean

Hi Rob,
The solution was quite simple, therere was a mismatch in the input schema and what was actually being ouput by the BPM directive. Which resulted in no date being mapped.

Rob,
its not related to the BO/method at all. It's BPM and service connect schema mismatch.

Rob,
its not related to the BO/method at all.

Did he feel that was working as designed.... or. .the solution he showed
you was a work around to something he didn't understand.. ..just
curious.. I think I already have a pretty good mental picture to the
solution suggested...

Ahmed showed me how to get it to work with having to export out to a
file
and then having a second flow pic it back up. I'll have a write up ready
tomorrow.

Charlie,

That SC flow I sent you has a poster in it that is saving the xml. The
subsequent input channel wouldn't be any different from any other input
file setup you would have made for another work flow.

Can you send me some screen shots of how you set that poster and
subsequent
output channel up?

I do have several BPM's calling SC Workflows. The initial workflow is a
poster that throws a CSV file to a specific folder, then I have SC
monitor
that folder and use that initial CSV file to process the SC Workflow.
Also,
make sure that your BPM is calling the SC Workflow synchronously.

If you want screen shot's email me off line and I'll get them to you.
