im sure this is a basic bit here but just started looking into BPMs Data and Method.
Which of the Conditions do i use to create a pop up based on a field’s value?
I would highly recommend you start with some basic education about the process before delving into this further.
The Tools User Guide in the Epicor Help walks you through all the BPM tools and widgets including how to do exactly what you asked.

Jose’s advice is spot on. When it comes to directives you can really dig yourself a hole if you aren’t careful. After you read up on the basics, you need to figure out what event you want to trigger on.
If the event is a method that is firing in Epicor, then you want to start with a Method directive targeted at whichever method you want to trigger on.
If the event is a value changing, then a Data directive might be the right way to go. Either way, once you have chosen your trigger event, and you have picked either data or method directive, then you can start building up the BPM.
The popup you are looking for is the Show Message widget in the BPM Workflow Designer. You can use that to show any message to the user.
