BOM Listing Report and BOM Cost Report

We have parent parts mfrd in one plant with child parts mfrd in other plants.
We need the BOM listing and BOM cost reports to show ALL parts that go into the parent part.
This used to work in 9056xxx and below for us, then when we upgraded to 905702 we needed to get a retrofix from Epicor to get the BOM listing to show all parts regardless of where the part was manufactured. We have some controlled orders and it is in these governement, etc jobs where we require bom listing to show all parts that go into parent.

I had really hoped that E10 would provide the enhancement that I was told by Epicor development to request at the time, to have user “option” to print all parts for all plants or for just parent part. Instead, I get single plant bom listing with no option.

I cannot imagine we are the only one with this problem. The thought of trying to twist Epicor’s arm to give me a retrofix to make functionality work the way it once did, once again, sends chills down my spine :frowning:

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Nancy

I haven’t gotten around to actually building on yet so can’t be sure…
But, now that E10 includes CTEs
I’ve been thinking we should be able to build some nice BAQ Reports for our BOM’s?

Here are some links that helped me get started with CTE’s/BOMs:
