When you pick the group from line update you can double click it there and
it will open the update group screen, you can change the G/L and then post
the invoice. To change it back you have to go update the group from the
master file update (or another unposted invoice).

Aha... ok, but you first have to update the group to reflect the correct GL
code, and then just pick the misc. code from the line update?

Ben, the only way I have found to do this is to change the G/L number of a
misc group we have, post the invoice, and change the G/L number back.
You
can edit the group from the line update of the invoice.

Now that I have vented, I have a question...
We have a one time misc. invoice that we would like to charge to a specific
GL account. Without setting up a "group" is there anyway to charge a line
on an invoice to a specific account?
Thanks!
