Hello! Would you guys know if a bin can be set up to have a weight limit? If so any advice on how to do this?

Just looking at the Warehouse Bin maintenance screen (10.2.400) there is no field for that, however you could use bin attributes to set a value and then possibly use a BPM restrict and a dashboard to display the information. A pretty simplistic view of things I admit. There are quite a number of scenarios you would need to consider, not to mention either using a field to track the additions and subtractions of parts to and from the bin (by weight) or some calculation that totals the weight of all parts in the bin…
Depending on what the version you are on it and what the purpose of the bin is you might want to look at PCID and a Package Code as it has a gross weight already there. If you have access to EUG there is a good webinar on PCID conducted my Mike Kaminsky from Epicor. If not then hopefully your CAM can hook you up, if you asked nicely
