Best solution for Financials

We used FRX in the past but now that we are on E10 we need a good replacement.
We are looking to do the usual financials, month end close, unpaid accounts, year end.
All the things FRX did and hopefully more plus easier to configure.
So far I have looked at the following …

Advanced Financial Reporting (AFR)
XL Connect
Fast Close

Are there any other options I don’t know about ?
What are your experiences/recommendations ?

We have a relatively simple setup, 1 company with an onsite server.

I appreciate any input you are willing to provide.

@enbw I have revised my post above.
All the usual things you use a financial package for, month end, year end, unpaid balances, inventory costs, etc.
I am not the accountant, just the IT guy who is trying to steer the financial group in the right direction.

If it is relatively simple can the builtin reporting work? That is all we use and it gets the job done.

@gpayne they have been looking at that question but I think they need more capabilities.

We moved up from Excel, so we very basic, but the Finance guy from Epicor was great and got our homegrown structure done in it.

AFR is not recommended if you are Cloud. We have XL Connect, Epicor Financial Planner and soon EDA will have some financial reporting to it. It really depends on who is writing the reports, who is viewing the reports and what you want to get in the report. Talk with your CAM and Epicor Regional Manager and we can point you in the proper direction.
