What Vic said is true; with a little leg work you can print bar codes.
We do auto printing of bar-coded labels at receipt. Its highly
customized but works well.

Subject: [Vantage] Bar codes in Vantage.
Our company is planning on implementing a bar coded inventory.
Currently, we receive material and it gets a part mark with a sharpie.
None of our Inventory is bar coded either.
We'd like to use the features of Vantage to bar code all our existing
material, new material, stores, and tooling.
My solution was to purchase a Dymo label maker and setup templates for
our inventory. But, since we've already invested so much in Epicor, the
owner of the company would like to use Vantage and do away with having
to use additional software.
I realize that Count Inventory prints bar codes, but isn't this
primarily for when you do a physical count of your parts, and not
necessarily when you receive material?
Thanks,
