I’m interest to explore the world of BAQ’s in Epicor Kinetics. Can someone lead me where to start and how they are set up. I’m interest for my area that is Cost Accounting and understand better the variances vs Standard and how my WIP is moving day to day on to a specific job / work order. Your best place to start is in the tools user guide found in the help. (hit f1 when you are in a screen). If you’re on the BAQ screen it will bring to the general help, which is fine, you should still review that. But the tools guide does much better job showing you the mechanics of it.
And if you’re going to insights, come to my presentation. I’m going to be explaining some the “whys” behind the basics.
And the important thing to remember is, it’s just SQL. Some find it easier to figure out the concepts through the BAQ tooling and asking questions on this forum. Some find it easier to understand the concepts independently and translate those to BAQ. There are great resources on this forum, but if you get to know SQL you can also query the entire internet.
