I think we use Part Transaction History Tracker the most at Epicor. This menu is very helpful. But, I think one drawback is that you have to search for each part.
Our company wants to check the latest usage date and usage type of each part. Only customer sales(STK-CUS) and production input(STK-MTL), the most recent transaction of these two, need to appear.
In Part Transaction History Tracker, we can check them one by one. But, I would like to create a BAQ report that allows me to check all parts at once.
Has anyone ever created this type of BAQ?
I would appreciate it if you could share your BAQ source, but any tips would be great.
Thanks in advance!
There is a ‘Material Transaction Detail’ report which can be filtered by Part, Warehouse or Transaction Type which I think would give you what you need.
Sorry for the lack of explanation of my needs. Actually, my needs came from Epicor’s standard report, the Stock Aging Report. I understand that the Reference Date in the Stock Aging Report is the latest transaction date. But, from this report, it is not possible to immediately identify the transaction type, and the purchasing team only wants to see the latest transactions for sales and production input transactions. This is because the transactions that directly affect actual business sales are STK-CUS and STK-MTL.
Of course, I can also tell them to go to another menu through “open with” to check for any additional information they want. However, anyone who manages ERP will sympathize, users always want to make inquiries easily and conveniently. Material Transaction Detail shows all transactions in the period I viewed, not just the most recent transaction. So I need to create a report like below.
I’ve gotten as far as using PartTran DB in BAQ to retrieve all STK-CUS and MTL transactions. But, I don’t know how to call up only the latest of these.
@pilio.lee , you do not need to do a BAQ to get the information that you need. You can use the Stock Aging Report with a custom Stock Provision Report Format. Look up the Help on the below.
We are already using the Stock Aging Report by setting up the Stock Provision Report Format. But, The Stock Aging Report does not display the latest Tras type. The Reference Date in the Stock Aging Report also seems to be the Max Age date, not the latest date.
Can I configure this the way I want? (Reference Date is the latest date, not Max Age. / Added latest Trans type column)
