BAQ Search Problem

Open Misc Shipment Tracker in customization mode, open the customization editor and check data tools.

Do you see your 'native' table listed there - or a do you see something similarly named that may not really be the table you wrote your BAQ against?... (The degree to which Epicor does this is truly beyond annoying)... (:o

It sounds like you need to create an FKV from the app's pseudo table to your actual table in use in the BAQ.

That should at least make your BAQ minimally usable from the app as a search. It may not satisfy though... Sometimes this results in only only a single record being selectable from the BAQ results (versus a group of multiple records if the app normally supports it.)

I ran into this on 404 in Buyers WB... Never did resolve but fortunately 405 (which we quickly moved to for many reasons) had massive changes to Purchasing apps and the need went away.

Thought I was doing this right, but the BAQ search is not available. My goal is to be able to select a Pack ID in Miscellaneous Shipment Tracker, searching by Tracking Number. Here is what I have done:

1. Created a BAQ that displays PackNum and TrackingNumber from MscShipHd.

2. Checked the Shared box on the BAQ Detail tab.

3. On the BAQ Search tab, I moved both of those columns from the Available "Like" Columns to the BAQ Search "Like" Columns.

4. I saved the BAQ.

5. I opened Miscellaneous Shipment Tracker.

6. I clicked the Pack ID button, then clicked on the BAQ tab. There are no BAQ Search entries listed.

What am I missing?
