BAQ - Running a report for a particular time period

I have a BAQ that reports the last Transaction for MFG-STK, STK-CUS, etc. for parts. These are done by using Subqueries. I have now been asked if the report could be run for different Time Periods such 1st quarter, 2nd quarter, etc. or by month.

Can anyone explain to me how this might be done? I’ve tried adding it at the Top Level and I have also tried adding it as a Subquery.

Just add a group by to your query / queries and group by either year or month
