BAQ Reports - flakey date behavior

I've seen this in 8.03.408B as well. I've begun using formula fields
with a ToText(,"MM/dd/yyyy") conversion in Crystal to display dates
properly.

Subject: [Vantage] BAQ Reports - flakey date behavior

We have written a number of BAQ Reports and on some users clients the
date fields are coming out with the date-time format despite the fact
that the Crystal report field format is set to date only. This behavior
is consistent on the client machines but not all client machine display
the date incorrectly some have the proper format. Anyone else seen this
behavior. We are on V9.05.601B.

We have run into this same problem before, it has to do with the PC's
configuration "currency" for some reason we had some machines that displayed
military time and others displayed regular time on the reports. We solved it
by using a specific format for the date time
