BAQ - Quick-Search returns correct records but then clicking OK brin

Good Day:

RE: BAQ - Quick-Search returns correct records but then clicking OK
brings back others- PI Tag entry

For Physical inventory ( 2 weeks away) I have a problem with
the "Count Tag Entry".

I do not use separate tags, but sheets dedicated to bins.
So, the count listed on those sheets in Bin Order.

I have a Quick-Search that returns the correct records for
each sheet, but when I click OK ( to pull in the records) I get many
others - including last years; then, because last years are listed (
and Locked), I cannot make ANY changes to ANY record.

It is a known bug. Some entry screens return the
wrong records for files that have a KEY that is more than one field.

Epicor has fixed some screen, but not
Count-Tag-Entry. The fix is to rerun the records based on the Unique
SysRowID field. You simply return that field in the Quick-Search and the
system uses that to return the correct Tag key (
Year\Cycle\Whse\Bin\Part#).

I have sent to Epicor, but do not expect a result in time.

The Basic search works, but it is just Starting Tag#. The
parts on the sheet are close to being in Tag# order, but not good
enough.

Plus the basic search takes too long. Although by limiting
it to records returned to 200 the speed becomes fine. - I even created a
"Named Search" complete with defaults to make it better; but it is still
not as simple as getting the exact correct list in the correct order.

Has anyone tried one of the below?

Possible solutions:

1. Add a field to screen that is "SysRowID" and run the
BAQ-QS against it.

2. Not Lock the records.

3. Purge old Count-Tag records.

4. Have basic search ask for Begin and Ending Bin# ( after
previously selecting Yr\Cycle-Whse as it does now)

5. Sort on "Face" field after search by Tag# and limited to
200 records.
