Plantwhse table is what I was missing scanned by that one and thought
doesn't say part in the name probably not something I'm interested in.. go
figure I should have known better. Works like a charm now.

Use the following:

Part to PartPlant using Company and PartNum as Links.
PartPlant to PlantWhse using Company, PartNum and WarehouseCode as Links.
PlantWhse to PartWhse Using Company, PartNum and Warehouse Code As links.
PartWhse to PartBin Using Company, PartNum, Warehouse Code As Links.

You could skip the PlantWhse to PartWhse and go from PlantWhse straight to
the PartBin unless you need information from the PartWhse record.

This will give you one record for each PartBin Record within a specific
plant and warehouse.

This query will give results for on hand stock.

I have tried to use the warehouse table and everything I seems to do give me
1 billion records or illegal cyclic link errors.

Well I can't figure out how to link them all together correctly. They need
to be in a chain with each other but that doesn't seem to be working out me.

Subject: [Vantage] BAQ or Crystal that returns part info

I need a baq and or a crystal that returns part num, plant, warehouse, bin.
This wouldn't be a problem if I could group this out but the report needs to
be in the format of a line per bin per warehouse per plant per part. So if a
part was in 4 bins that were spilt between 3 warehouse that were split
between 2 plants the return would look like this:

Partnum Plant1 warehouse1 bin1

Partnum Plant1 warehouse2 bin2

Partnum plant2 warehouse3 bin3

Partnum plant2 warehouse3 bin4

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The problem I'm having is that the partwhse table doesn't have a plant field
in it.

The warehouse table has a plant field in it.

Take part and connect plant to it. Then connect partwhse to plant. Connect
warehse to partwhse. Make the plant field in warehse equal to the plant
field in the part plant table. Connect bin to partwhse.

Add your fields and give that a try.

Here is an example:

for each Part no-lock , each PartPlant where (Part.Company =
PartPlant.Company and Part.PartNum = PartPlant.PartNum) no-lock , each
PartWhse where (PartPlant.Company = PartWhse.Company and PartPlant.PartNum =
PartWhse.PartNum) no-lock , each PartBin where (PartWhse.Company =
PartBin.Company and PartWhse.PartNum = PartBin.PartNum and
PartWhse.WarehouseCode = PartBin.WarehouseCode) no-lock , each Warehse where
( Warehse.Plant = PartPlant.Plant) and (PartWhse.Company = Warehse.Company
and PartWhse.WarehouseCode = Warehse.WarehouseCode) no-lock by Part.PartNum
by PartPlant.Plant by PartWhse.WarehouseCode by PartBin.BinNum.
