BAQ help for Top Ten Customers / Vendors

I would like to take a look at that Top customer dashboard. Would love to see how you did that.

Hello,

I've been asked to make a report or BAQ showing our top ten customers or vendors with a date range. I'm not sure what tables to pull from to get the data.

I need to show booked order dollars by Month.

With the vendors, I need to show our open PO dollars by month.

I'm sure if I can get one to work, the other will be easy.

With bookings I guess you want sales order dollars instead of invoice dollars? With the date range, you can just put that on the dashboard to pull in sales order dollars by date range. Do you want only line charges without taxes and/or misc charges?

Hi Leslie,

Also, see the discussion from 3-18-2010 "Vantage - Top Customer Report" submitted by Chris T. To sort for Top Ten, Steven G. has a solution with custom fields, and I have a solution using Crystal Reports functionality.

Mark, I am also trying to get the top suppliers for last 3-months of
receipts. I think that your BAQ will be of great help to get me started.
