You may be dealing with a bug. You can make the dashboard multi-company, if set up correctly it will return data from more then one company. However, when you call up the dashboard from a company other than the company it was created in, it will be blank. Following is the answer I received from an Epicor tech when I reported it: "If you want dashboards to replicate to multiple companies using Sonic, that is not currently working and an SCR was created --SCR 51625-- and it it targeted to 8.03.408. BAQs, however, that are marked as Global will replicate if Sonic is setup and running.". However...SCR 51625 doesn't come up when searching the customer matrix; my call is still pending (for whatever that's worth!); and I'm now running 8.03.409A (the bug is still there). I figured it was another bug that won't be fixed in Vantage. The workaround I was given is to export it from the company that you created it in and import it to another company. Another bug to look for if you're using multi-company dashboards. If I put an advanced search in a multi-company dashboard, the filter works works for the first company, but not the second, all records are returned for the 2nd company (SCR 79023). I don't know when that issue showed up, it wasn't there when we were on 8.03.406A. According to the customer matrix SCR 79023 is fixed in 8.03.410.
