BAQ & Dashboard

Hi Bruce,

Can you remind me what the difference is between an inner and outer join?

Cheers.

To delete the links - select the link and go to the table relations sheet
and click on the delete icon.

In E9 to create a new link, click on the Add Connection ("Chain" icon)
Click on the first and second table that you want to link.
Note that it defaults to an inner join.
To modify the link, click on the specific link and go to the Table Relations
sheet.

How do you remove an epicor link between table and creat your own?

In E9 I think it is more complicated?

The BAQ wizard rarely creates joins in the way you need (when the query is
even moderately complex). Get used to establishing your own joins that suit
your specific needs.

As soon as I add the JobHead table it increase the number of lines.

Which table relations should I be using?

It has automatically connect with JobHead as the Parent and JobOper as the
child with Company and JobNum as the relations.

I think I have it almost.

I have linked the JobOper to LaborDtl in the opposite direction and that
is pulling through the correct Opr Descriptions.

The only thing now is to bring in the part number from somewhere. But
where? I have added it from the JobOper table and it displays a black
field so Im guessing its not that one! :-)

Hi,

Im trying to create a simple (or so I thought) BAQ to report what job
and operation an operator has done and how long it took them, and how
many parts they worked on.

I want to know the following:

Date | Operator Name | Start Time | End Time | Job Number | Part |
Operation | Quantity | Standard Time | Type

Does any know where I should begin?

Does anyone have a BAQ like this that I may 'aquire'?

Thanks,

CHRIS THOMPSON

Labor tables...labor head and labor dtl specifically...and also emp
basic (if it is still called that) to get the name of the operator.

I am on Vantage 8.03 407A Multi Company and Multi Plant - OneDatabase

Is there a checklist as how to set up a part and PO for consolidated
purchasing.

I want to consolidate the PO for all companies for common parts. But am
not sure where to begin

I called support they said I need a consultant. I don't want a
consultant I just want to know what I need to do so I can test.

Is anyone else using this functionality and could you help me get it
set up

I would greatly appreciate it

Thank You

Don

In the BAQ Im not currently filtering.

I am wanting to see every employee (shopfloor) and see everything that they have done in date order and when the clocked on/off the job and which job and the opr description.

Im so close - but so far away!

I have added the OpMaster table but that has just added hundreds or
repeat lines.

Will that be something to do with the join or table relationship or am I
on the wrong table.

Cheers,

Thanks,

Ross,

I have just tried linking LaborDtl (each) as the ParentTable to JobOper (each) as the child and created a table relations between JobNum and OrpSeq in both tables.

Is this what you meant?

It doesn't seem to have worked. Have I linked JobOper to the right table? in the right direction?

Cheers.

I think I have it almost.

I have linked the JobOper to LaborDtl in the opposite direction and that is pulling through the correct Opr Descriptions.

The only thing now is to bring in the part number from somewhere. But where? I have added it from the JobOper table and it displays a black field so Im guessing its not that one! :-)

Ross,

I have just tried linking LaborDtl (each) as the ParentTable to JobOper
(each) as the child and created a table relations between JobNum and OrpSeq
in both tables.

Is this what you meant?

It doesn't seem to have worked. Have I linked JobOper to the right table? in
the right direction?

Cheers.

Will that be something to do with the join or table relationship or am I on

Thanks,

As soon as I add the JobHead table it increase the number of lines.

Which table relations should I be using?

It has automatically connect with JobHead as the Parent and JobOper as the child with Company and JobNum as the relations.
