I have a dashboard that the associates have been using for a while now without issue. Today and yesterday the associate calls saying that her EPICOR locks up when trying to run the dashboard. She says she has always run the dashboard before.
Normal Operation: The dashboard menu item is clicked, we see the “Report Loading…” green bar on the bottom of the screen for a very short period. The parameters screen pops up asking for the year and a code for manager. Dashboard runs.
For this 1 associate, the parameters screen does not appear. The green bar does not go away; and EPICOR locks up.
We logged into EPICOR on other computers with this associate’s username / password. Dashboard works. Not a permission issue.
We logged into EPICOR on her PC with another associate’s credentials. Dashboard works. Not a dashboard problem.
When you log into Epicor on her PC with another’s credentials, are you only using their credentials for Epicor or also their Windows credentials? If you are using their Windows credentials, could potentially be a local cache issue. If you’re using her Windows credentials, it would be using the same cache so that wouldn’t be it.
What exactly does deleting the 808 folder do? I have done it before upon recommendation from a user. I just want to better understand what happens behind the scenes when we delete these folders.
