Looks like your file association is messed up. The link file (*.vdl)
should be associated with the VantageEmailLink program. This program
should be located in your mfgsys61\dll folder.

Whenever we open the attachment - it opens notepad (aaarrgh!)
PS - Watch out for 6.10.521 - after we installed it some of our part
numbers changed in our orders. When the parts were created they were
fine - sales has hard copies to prove it. After 521 was installed the
system placed a number "3" in the front of the part number in the S/O. I
didn't know about it until I was looking at some jobs which had part
numbers I knew shouldn't be in the system. These parts were all placed
in the S/O using the COPY FROM procedure so we're pretty sure it must be
linked. None of the other parts, which were configured, changed.

when someone changes the credit status of a customer. There is a
check box on the BAM Maintenance screen to Included Link. If you
check that box the e-mail alert includes an attachment, which will
open up Customer Tracker for the affected customer. I haven't tried
the alert program option, but the include link my be useful for some
of you.
