Subject: [Vantage] BAM Customization

Vantage 8.03.405 has a bunch of pre-configured global alerts for
various events that insert, for instance, the sales order # along with
some text. With the BAM I can create custom global alerts with text
messages, but I don't see any way of inserting various fields in the
event from the table that I used to create the alert. For example, I
can create a text message based global alert when a sales order goes
off hold, but I can't insert the order number or the customer ID field
from the record that originated the alert. Service connect has the
capability of inserting a process variable in an e-mail message, so why
doesn't the Vantage BAM have a similar feature? ...Or, is there some
way of doing this that I've missed?
